In the continuation of the first season, this new series lifts the curtain on a part of the dark secrets of the previous series. The group of young friends in the city of "Hinamizawa" in the summer of 1983, which seems to have no end, still have terrifying encounters with each other, which often end in the sudden death of one of the group members. "Furude Rika" with the help of her spiritual friend "Hanyuu" faces challenges one after another and with all her might tries to prevent their fate from ending in a sorrowful death. Despite the fact that it seems that there is no end to these tormenting conditions, "Rika" is forced to revive the bond between friends and mutual trust in order to be able to uncover the real identity of the enemy in this endless June.
